It all began in 1999 with a single female Mallard, hence the phone number (317) 902-DUCK.
Her leg had been destroyed by a snapping turtle. Our second patient was a Canada Goose and the passion began.

We maintain rehabilitation, education, and salvage permits through the Indiana Dep't. of Natural Resources and the US Fish & Wildlife Service, Dep't. of the Interior.
Providence Wildlife Rehabilitation is also registered with the State of Indiana as a not-for-profit business corporation and recognized by the IRS as a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) charity.
